our little model
Here are some of her newborn pictures, she was 5 days old when these were taken. it was so much fun and i think she did a pretty good job for her first photo shoot ;)
about tayz
well for starters she looks JUST like jori...poor girl haha just kidding. Seriously though, every little thing she does is exactly like jori. I wanted a girl because i figured she WOULDNT be just like jori, but no...even having a girl she manages to do every facial expression and tantrum, just like her daddy ;)
..she even sleeps like her dad(snoring!!)
I look at her every detail trying to find one thing that she got of mine, and we came to the conclusion she is ALL jori...except for maybe her cute little asian eyes!
darci made this dress for tayz. i love it, and am definitely going to need to order some more stuff from her!
Tayzli was already trying to hold her head up when she was a week old, im not kidding! she is a tough one. so now, almost being 7 weeks old she can pretty much hold her head up..unless she is really tired. She loves to be bounced, she LOVES to cuddle, she loves when i lay her in my lap so she can kick me, she always has to be touching me (she gets that from jori as well) she has always been a very alert baby. Right after she was born when they put her on my chest she just stared at me and was observing everything around that she could. Only me and jori can get her to smile for now, but its adorable and i cant wait until she does it more!

I dont think words can explain how much i love this picture. i guess you just have to be a mom to fully understand.

i HATED being pregnant but she was worth the "weight" ;) i cant believe almost two months ago she was inside me still. i really dont know how she fit cause shes such a monster! being a parent is nothing like i expected...its hard and it takes twice as long for me to do ANYTHING. but having her around is the best thing to happen to me! i love being a mommy!!

....I dont think I deserve to even have a blog! Wouldn't you agree? haha I WILL do better! I noticed that my last post was BEFORE I had Tayzli...so its time for pictures (cause thats all people really like to see anyways right?)
Although I look extremely tired in this picture, i can't complain at all about my experience. I had a doctors appointment around 10 am just for my regular once a week check-up, i figured the doctor would just give me the same ol boring news..."everything looks fine, we'll see you next week" but it WASNT!!! he checked me, gave me a smile and asked, do you want to have this baby today?... your already 4cm dilated!! first thing i said was NO! then i looked at jori and was like...well yes. but no. haha obviously i was nervous, so the doctor told me if i started feeling contractions to head up to the hospital. I called EVERYONE and my mom headed down to utah within an hour after i called her(gotta love her) so a few hours later my mom and gma get to utah and i hadnt felt anything different but decided i wanted to go up to the hospital anyways. My mom had to take me cause jori was working...but to be honest i didnt think they would keep me at the hospital cause i wasnt feeling any pain. we got to the hospital around 7 30pm and to make a long story short....10 hours later....WE WELCOMED TAYZLI INTO THE WORLD!

Jori helps more than i thought he would, i still have to ASK or TELL him to do things but at least he actually will do...even if it is after the 5th or 6th time asking. haha

7 lbs 11oz 20.5 inches long (shes huge I KNOW)
I only had to push for 45 minutes though and half of that we kinda just sat there cause apparently tayzli wanted to stay in there a little bit longer...so i cant compain at all!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE! My mom had to be back to work in rexburg so they left before i had her, but while i was pushing i noticed jori was on the phone...it was my mom...on her way back to the hospital cause she said she HAD to be there! and im so glad, couldnt have imagined it without her and gma sakota.

Jana Dula and Mikailei came up and spent some time with us too. Dula cracks me up, who woulda thought he was such a softy ;) and jana knows just how to spoil her grandkids...i have a feeling mikailei is going to be doing a lot of spoiling too.

Pregnancy Pictures
haha looking back at these kind of make me laugh...I thought I was sooo big then. This was me and like 9 weeks.
Wow I should have written down how far along I was when I took the picture. I'm around 13 weeks in this one.

It's weird that its already been a month since he passed away. He was just one of those people that EVERYONE loved, everyone always wanted to be around him because he was so happy and positive all the time. It was really hard to watch him struggle but we know he is where he needs to be, doing what he needs to be doing. But that definitely doesnt make it easier not having him around. He passed away April 26 2010.
This picture was taken two days before he died, he always wanted a black escalade...so that's exactly what he got!

Mexico Cruise
I promise I didnt fall off the face of the earth. There has just been a TON going on in the last couple months...so its time to catch up!
We went on a week cruise to Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo and it was SOOO much fun. I will admitt being pregnant during the whole thing wasn't the greatest. I felt exhausted all the time and extremely HOT!! ;)
...a few things i found out while on our vacation. When your pregnant, your skin becomes very sensitive! Before I was pregnant i could be out in the sun ALL day and not burn at all...Well Jori and I decided to lay out on the ship one day for about an hour and i thought i'd be fine. I didnt even bring sun screen! (BIG MISTAKE) i was fried!! as you can see in the pic...this was only like the second day so i was trying to stay out of the sun as much as i could this day! haha
I also learned that sweet little dolphins aren't so sweet around pregnant women..they WILL attack you. haha luckily i was warned about this so we stayed away from dolphins which was kind of a bummer! but oh well...
This was the first morning on the cruise. there were 18 of us total that went, so obviously this is only part of the group...Matt and Tia Jolley and Ryan and Jamie Finley (oh kind of crazy, Jamie was actually pregnant too! even though she totally doesnt look like it...i think she was about 18 weeks or so, two jamies that both happened to be pregnant)
he was real!... poor kid
...we just got to Cabo gettin' ready to go snorkeling!

a HUGE surprise....
Well.......the rumors are true......... I AM PREGNANT!!!!! 
and I will admitt that I have never been more excited AND scared about something in my life!

It was "a HUGE surprise" for us, but I suppose it shouldn't have been. Especially because I didn't actually start birth control till about 3 days before the wedding (how smart am i? haha)
My doctor that I go to now here in Layton actually told me that your not supposed to leave Nuvaring our for a week. Even though the instructions AND the doctor I went to before told me to keep it out a week. So for those of you ever interested in NuvaRing....you cant leave it out for more than three days, or its ineffective!!!! But that is WAY besides the point.....i'm already pregnant haha and no it was not planned but Jori and I couldnt be happier about it.
We went to the Doctor yesterday and he is already predicting a GIRL , YAY!!!! So I'm hoping that doesn't change. They will be more certain on everything my next appointment in March so I will definitely have to keep you updated!!!
